Heavy taxes on cigars may reduce lung cancer

The leading cause of the cancer that harms the lungs is smoking cigars. In order to control the death rate of the persons in the country, the government have invested huge amount in medical and human welfare schemes. But they have not seems to bring down the rates in any case since people are still addicted to the habit and still continue to be diagnosed by lung cancer in large amount every day. So in order to reduce the number of victims, the government came up with the idea of eliminating the root cause of the disease, that is, cigars. Government implemented this imposing heavy taxes on the cigars thereby it would be harder for people to afford them. One such government which implement them is the US government where they increases the tax on the cigars by more the 700% which made it impossible for normal man to buy them. Thus the survey showed that the number of smokers where down by 18% in the state of North California after imposing this law and thereby leading to the decrease in the lung cancer rate.

Ever since the doctors found ways to increase the life term of the patients who are battling for their life with the lung cancer, researchers has involved more in it to find a better way every day. Instead of trying to find a new method, the researchers thought an idea of combining the treatment process to have an effective outcome and thereby increasing the life time of the patient and in some cases even saving them.
